Anusha Iyer, Director of Inspiyer, is a service designer for impact organisations and a workshop facilitator.
With her systems and design thinking expertise, she helps teams optimise their workflow, adding value to clients and transforming businesses and organisations, all while staying positive to people and planet. She can help unblock projects and bring alignment in teams, by designing workshops that facilitate collaboration, creating an inclusive space for decision making. Anusha can also train and advise on making user-centred design successful in organisations that are relatively new to the capability.
At Microsoft Research in Cambridge in 2018, Anusha led a fantastic design workshop that brought together the local research team with members of the Excel team based in other parts of the world. Anusha devised a format to allow us to consider problems faced by the Excel product, one of the most complex software applications in the whole industry, to consider a range of feature ideas, and to discuss and prioritise work. The workshop was a happy occasion and sowed the seeds for some successful collaborations between geographically separate teams. I would love to work with Anusha again to get effective results between separate groups.

I was a participant in a workshop hosted by Anusha and was struck by her impressive ability both to gain the trust of the group – the environment felt safe, positive and exciting – but also to stretch and challenge us to get the most from the session. Anusha has a way of framing the challenge that makes you feel we’re all in this together, we need each other to solve this problem. Even though some of the content was challenging and stretching for us, her positive, open approach meant we didn’t get defensive.
